About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Safety Assurance Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our projects and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all safety assurance activities on the project, including defining safety plans and managing safety workloads.
  • Perform safety analysis, manage hazard logs, and review design, verification, and validation activities from a safety perspective.
  • Build safety reports and safety cases, and apply safety assurance methodologies defined for the project.
  • Defend safety case argumentations in front of internal and external assessors, and define and follow-up action plans to close findings.
  • Manage safety assurance engineers involved on the project.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in safety signalling projects, with a strong background in risk management and safety assurance.
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills.
  • Relevant experience in safety assurance in connected railway signalling safety projects.
  • Successful experience in working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment.
  • Working knowledge of safety methods, including safety plans, hazard analysis, and safety case development.
