About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional PSS Manager to join our team based in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the central operational elements of New and Existing Partnership Stores in Spain and Portugal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Concepts: Develop, implement, and communicate operational concepts and procedures to ensure seamless integration of processes and sharing of best practices.
  • Meet with Retail Departments: Meet with other Retail departments (O+O and PSS) to ensure a seamless integration of processes and sharing of best practices.
  • Build Store P&L and Manage Budget: Build store P&L from scratch and manage store budget preparation (both qualitative and quantitative) based on financial parameters.
  • Manage Franchising Partnerships: Previous experience managing franchising partners in Spain and Portugal, preferably in Footwear.
  • Compile Market Strategy: Assist in compiling the market strategy for PSS development and supports country teams in evaluating and recruiting new Partners.
  • Liaise with Buying Groups and Mall Operators: Liaise with buying groups and mall operators to educate on our requirement for new locations.
  • Work with Construction, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing Department: Work with Construction, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing Department to ensure new store openings are delivered.
  • Coordinate VF Approval Process: Co-ordinate VF approval process and contract issuing with Legal Department.
  • Provide Forecasts, Budgets, and Estimates: Provides forecasts, budgets, and estimates for PSS stakeholders (e.g. Ops, DC, Returns, etc.).
  • Manage Partners Store Communication: Manage the Partners Store Communication process with stakeholders, including but not limited to store layout guidelines, window directives, seasonal Training Materials.
  • Develop Timberland Store Product Assortments: Develops Timberland Store product assortments for various store types on a seasonal basis to ensure Timberland Brand Strategies and Category Drivers are achieved.
  • Ensure Execution: Ensures execution through managing local Partnership Stores Coordinators and Partnership responsible teams in minor countries/markets.
  • Distribute Retail Training: Distributes retail training in product knowledge, selling concepts, etc.
  • Analyze and Utilize Data: Analyzes and Utilizes data to improve Partnership Stores' performance and KPI's.
  • Create and Maintain Relationships: Creates and maintains strong relationships with all levels of the country teams and business partners to ensure maximum operational efficiency and alignment.

  • Financial Skills: Proficient in Excel with advanced skills in building financial models and data analysis. Ability to create tools, dashboards, and reports autonomously.
  • Financial Understanding: Strong understanding of financial parameters and budgeting processes.
  • Franchising Experience: Experience in managing franchising partnerships, particularly in the Footwear industry in Spain and Portugal.
  • Language Skills: English fluency and one other European language desirable.
