Job Summary

Kempinski Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for safeguarding the hotel's assets and financial resources, ensuring they are utilized to maximize operating results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to the executive team to ensure the hotel operates profitably and within legal and corporate guidelines.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local and corporate regulations, including insurance and taxation.
  • Develop and implement talent development initiatives to support the growth and development of finance staff.
  • Recruit and select potential talent to meet the company's current and future needs.
  • Conduct regular appraisals and provide feedback to finance staff to support their career development.
Requirements
  • BA/BSc in finance, accounting, or related field, or CPA/ACA/ACCA or MBA (Financial).
  • 2+ years of experience as a financial controller, preferably with a 5* hotel chain.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure, and come up with proactive solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and accounting software.
