Position Summary
The Senior Global Ad Operations Executive will be an integral part of a dedicated team responsible for the precise configuration in ad servers and/or ad verification platforms for a diverse portfolio of major international clients managed within the Global Ad Operations Centre of Excellence.
This role encompasses overseeing the daily management of campaign trafficking and client-side tagging, alongside resolving technical implementation challenges. A strong emphasis on customer service is essential, as the position supports various teams across planning and trading functions to enhance campaign performance and optimize advertising outcomes.
A keen interest in comprehending the comprehensive array of ad technology platforms and their interconnections is vital to deliver innovative solutions for the digital tracking and enhancement of marketing campaigns for our global clientele.
Daily interactions will occur with internal teams such as digital media planning and analytics, as well as external clients and ad technology partners, ensuring the accurate and consistent execution of all digital advertising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Grasp the unique aspects of each client's advertising technology stack and data collection framework.
- Comprehend client goals and how the agency formulates media strategies to achieve them.
- Assist in media planning discussions regarding trafficking methodologies and associated measurement requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (planners and traders) to deliver top-tier tracking implementations.
- Develop tailored client solutions for specific tracking requirements or campaign executions.
- Ensure adherence to compliance guidelines and standards for each client, updating documentation as necessary.
- Manage workload distribution among team members, balancing demands and priorities across clients.
- Supervise the accurate setup of campaigns for each client, adhering to established guidelines and standards.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues related to campaign setup and trafficking with the team or third parties.
- Coordinate with planning teams, programmatic/social traders, or publishers to troubleshoot challenges.
- Engage with third-party vendors to identify solutions or troubleshoot issues (tag management, consent, analytics, trading teams, publishers, etc.).
- Oversee trafficking processes and ensure ongoing compliance among global team members.
- Contribute to training initiatives (both internally and with other AdOps teams or planning/trading teams).
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and client-related documentation.
- Assist in developing various tools to enhance and optimize internal processes.
- Stay informed about the latest technologies to enhance agency offerings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ad operations, trafficking, and ad technologies within a global media agency.
- International experience is advantageous.
Technical Proficiencies
- Extensive experience with various ad serving solutions (e.g., CM360, AdForm, Flashtalking).
- Proficient in leading ad verification technologies (e.g., DoubleVerify, IntegralAdScience, MOAT).
- Basic understanding of tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Tealium).
- Broad knowledge of analytics solutions (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Familiarity with other AdTech solutions: DSP, Social Platforms.
- Exposure to DCO implementation with rich media solutions (e.g., Google Studio) is a plus.
- Familiarity with attention measurement partners (e.g., Lumen, Adelaide, Playground XYZ) is a plus.
- Exposure to other marketing platforms: DMPs, CDPs, CRMs is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages, primarily JavaScript and HTML.
- Basic understanding of project management software (e.g., JIRA).
