Job Summary

PepsiCo is seeking a highly skilled Capacity Planning & Network Strategy Modelling Expert to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for enhancing Europe supply chain efficiency through the build and deployment of end-to-end modelling solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop network models to assess manufacturing, transportation, distribution, and inventory strategies to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Partner with other sector and market teams to deliver productivity agenda and leverage advanced modelling tools like Llamasoft to achieve goals.
  • Use extensive knowledge of supply chain practices and simulate scenarios to identify end-to-end opportunities.
  • Define and implement network optimization standards, best practices, process, and toolkits.
  • Operate as modeler project lead on Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru and Data Guru.
  • Develop presentations, data visualizations, and calculate financial impact of various scenarios to present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Work with senior managers, directors, and the rest of the modelling and data team to develop innovative solutions.
  • Interact with business unit/project SMEs to understand customer voice, take into account all data components, links, flows, products, and relevant cost elements.
Requirements
  • Technical Capabilities
  • Proficient in Llamasoft/Coupa end-to-end supply chain modelling tool.
  • Extensive knowledge of key principles of supply chain optimization.
  • Previous experience of network modelling to define and create optimization opportunities.
  • Conceptual thinker: Ability to translate business logic into modelling concepts and vice versa.
  • Demonstrated examples of creatively utilizing analytical/mathematical skills with results.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word).
  • Advanced degree preferred in Engineering, Business, Operations Research, or similar.
  • Leadership Capabilities
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management experience.
  • Demonstrated influencing skills.
  • Cross-industry chain experience to bring best practices to PepsiCo.
  • Excellent communicator, with strong proficiency in English (written & verbal).
  • Strong project management skills and excellent planning bias.
  • Building and maintaining trusting relationships across organizational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated success with clear and concise communication in a variety of situations.
