Job Summary
In this pivotal role as Plant Director, you will spearhead the development and execution of long-term strategies for the plant. Collaborate with the company to align with overall objectives, driving growth and success. Set objectives for all plant areas, ensuring the efficient use of resources, including technical, human, financial, and more. Leverage distribution and assignment of tasks to meet strategic plan goals. Establish plant indicators and implement corrective measures to meet client commitments. Secure necessary resources for long-term objectives. Manage investments, planning, and budgeting to maintain competitiveness. Foster effective relationships with clients, ensuring quality and delivery time expectations are met. Monitor expenses, manage the operating budget, and optimize costs for profitability. Conduct profitability analysis, generating reports for strategic decision-making. Plan and monitor prototype realization and new industrializations. Oversee personnel training and objectives setting. Review and approve business-related contracts and the annual budget. Identify new business opportunities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental management. Strengthen staff motivation, promoting participation and integration. Encourage professional growth, ensuring employees have necessary skills. Develop a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing organizational methodology and processes. Requirements
Engineering Degree or Higher
Experience in multinational companies in the heavy industry sector
Experience in continuous improvement
More than 15 years of experience in technical and/or production departments
Extensive knowledge in Quality of both process and product
Languages: Proficient in English and Spanish
IT/office automation (programs, languages, operating systems): recommended knowledge in Office automation: spreadsheets, intranet
Integrated packages: Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio
Management tools: SAP, JIRA
