Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented professional with expertise in biocatalysis processes to design and develop new processes for the manufacturing of APIs. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and lead relevant works performed by partners and CROs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new processes for the production of new pipeline APIs.
- Design and execute laboratory research while overseeing work done by technicians.
- Project planning and management to achieve deadlines.
- Technology transfer to manufacturing site collaborating with Tech Ops team for a successful process implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate enzymatic processes into overall drug development pipelines.
- Lead collaborations with partners and CROs with a deep understanding of technologies applied.
- Ensure compliance with GMP and Safety regulations in all activities.
- Monitor internal and external developments in the biocatalysis field for applicability, including benchmarking of the technology against competitors by performing literature and IP searches.
Requirements:
- PhD in biocatalysis, biochemistry, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Deep understanding of enzyme technology, bioconversion, and enzyme purification techniques.
- Advanced level of English language (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of GMP.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships.
- Results-oriented.
- Proactive and team-oriented attitude.
- Leadership skills.
