About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our team at Amazon. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure our area of the business meets customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of employees to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Analyse and Implement Corrective Actions: You will analyse data and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity are at consistently high levels.
- Support and Lead a Team: You will support and lead a team, handling administrative work and building a strong team culture.
- Analyse Performance and Suggest Process Improvements: You will analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and improve customer service.
- Collaborate with Other Managers: You will collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes.
A Day in the Life
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree)
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
- Experience in a logistical working environment
- Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
