Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Research Director to lead our Evidence Synthesis team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the execution of systematic literature reviews and indirect treatment comparison analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement systematic and targeted literature reviews to inform clinical trial design and execution.
- Direct and lead project teams in the execution of work, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Evaluate the evidence base to determine the feasibility of indirect treatment comparison analyses.
- Conceptualize advanced study designs and develop study protocols and analysis plans in collaboration with statisticians.
- Oversee the conduct of indirect treatment comparison analyses and interpret the findings.
- Lead interactions with clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, providing strategic consultation and advice on research needs.
- Manage project budgets, deliverables, and timelines, identifying scope expansion and the need for amendments.
- Review and finalize project deliverables, ensuring study findings are valid and reliable.
- Participate in business development, including proposal review, kick-off meetings, and bid defense meetings.
- Support sales through methodological excellence, reviewing key challenges and suggesting solutions.
- Review, track, and own annual sales targets.
- Direct non-billable activities, deliver initiatives to improve scientific methods, and develop rigorous internal processes.
