About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Dynamics Testing Manager to join our team at The Applus+ Group. As a leader in the field of automotive engineering and testing services, we are committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Execution

Develop and implement comprehensive plans for vehicle dynamics testing projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of results.

Team Leadership and Development

Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.

Resource Allocation and Management

Collaborate with the head of the workshop to allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of assets and personnel.

Procedure Development and Implementation

Develop and supervise the implementation of working procedures, testing methodologies, and data analysis processes to ensure technical excellence and organizational effectiveness.

Client Interaction and Support

Support the sales process by creating and disseminating presentations, papers, and webinars, and liaise with customers to understand and meet their needs.

Commercial Offers and Proposal Development

Prepare, validate, and/or review project proposals and quotations to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Requirements
  1. Educational Background

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

Over 6 years of experience in automotive development, preferably related to chassis and vehicle dynamics testing.

Technical Expertise

Proficiency in vehicle instrumentation, test execution, and data analysis, with the ability to define resources and timing for testing activities.

Driving Skills

High driving skills are an asset, with certification from an OEM or supplier preferred.

Knowledge

Good understanding of vehicle dynamics theory, especially related to full-vehicle performance, and basic grasp of the performance development process.
