Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Gartner. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing accounting and finance activities for our assigned territories, including South Africa and Israel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and support the monthly/quarterly/year-end closing process for our Gartner subsidiaries.
- Manage general ledger accounting, execute and record transactions, and maintain necessary supporting documentation.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations to the general ledger.
- Prepare and control intercompany transactions.
- Prepare and file VAT declarations and other statutory reports.
- Assist the tax team by preparing annual tax information for review.
- Support the audit process, including the preparation of statutory financials.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting function of a global multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of local accounting standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and intermediate to advanced reporting systems.
- Oracle Financials and Hyperion experience is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in a proactive manner.
- Ability to manage constantly shifting priorities, requirements, and meeting deadlines.
