About the Role
FeverUp is seeking a highly skilled Digital Community Manager to join our dynamic editorial team. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a vital member of a professional newsroom, where you'll have the chance to advance your career in a fast-paced digital media environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve and manage our international online communities on social media platforms.
- Create high-quality and engaging content for our social media channels, including text, images, and videos.
- Drive audience growth and engagement across multiple social platforms by scheduling content, writing compelling copy, and monitoring performance metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and source content accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Director of Social Media and Editorial Executives to schedule and promote editorial-sponsored content across all platforms.
- Conduct timely qualitative and quantitative analysis/reporting to improve our content proposals.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a native-level of Spanish and Catalan, with English proficiency also preferred.
- Has extensive knowledge of digital marketing and social media trends.
- Has 2+ years of experience running social media accounts for a newsroom, agency, or brand, or personal projects related to social media.
- Stays current with digital technology trends and has a strong understanding of digital media trends.
- Can demonstrate the ability to adapt to the fast-paced world of a digital startup business.
- Has experience with social media tools like Falcon, Canva, CapCut, Creators Studio, Storrito, Later, and similar.
- Has the ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs.
- Pays attention to detail, is a critical thinker, and a problem-solver.
- Feels comfortable appearing on camera and conducting voice-overs for our video content.
- Loves being part of a dynamic team in a growing company and can work collaboratively towards a shared goal.
- Is flexible and can handle the demands of a newsroom, where breaking news is always on the verge.
Desirable Requirements
- Mastery of Canva and proficiency in editing short, engaging videos.
- Experience with design/edit tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter is a plus.
- Knowledge of content discovery mechanisms (algorithms) and optimization levers within a digital media platform.
