Job Title: Security Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security controls for our software services and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the security vision and strategy for our systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical security solutions with business objectives.
- Mentor and coach other team members on security principles and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to product delivery teams on security architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of security solutions.
- Establish and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Lead the design of threat modeling exercises, targeted penetration tests, and architecture security reviews.
- Design and develop secure architectures in both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures.
- Implement and manage security systems across the entire organization's infrastructure, data, and applications to defend against security threats.
- Assist with the facilitation of a security training and awareness program for all company employees.
- Work alongside Customer Service Desk and Software Engineers in response to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
- Experience in security engineering or software architecture, preferably in a financial or blockchain-related business environment.
- Experience in working as a Lead Engineer or Architect and a proven track record of delivering results through effective stakeholder management and providing strategic guidance to teams of engineers.
- Deep knowledge of security principles, frameworks, standards, and industry best practice, such as OWASP, NIST, etc.
- Familiarity with security assessments, audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment, taking multiple initiatives forward at the same time.
- Experience in developing secure code and implementing secure development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Experience in the implementation and management of a security awareness program.
- Experience in handling security incidents and breaches, and performing incident response and forensics.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Full English proficiency, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
