Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team at The Workshop. As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security controls within our software services and applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and lead the security vision and strategy for our systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical security solutions with business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to product delivery teams on security architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of security solutions.
- Establish and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Lead the design of threat modeling exercises, targeted penetration tests, and architecture security reviews.
- Design and develop secure architectures in both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures.
- Implement and manage security systems across the entire organization's infrastructure, data, and applications.
- Assist with the facilitation of a security training and awareness program for all company employees.
- Experience in security engineering or software architecture, preferably in a financial or blockchain-related business environment.
- Experience in working as a Lead Engineer or Architect and a proven track record of delivering results through effective stakeholder management and providing strategic guidance to teams of engineers.
- Deep knowledge of security principles, frameworks, standards, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with security assessments, audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment and take multiple initiatives forward at the same time.
