About the Role

Capital Energy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Project Manager to support the management, coordination, and planning of data center projects in their initial phases. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, from planning to implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Review and monitor project planning in initial phases, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and that project timelines are met.
  • Budget Management: Manage and control the project budget and cash flow in initial phases, identifying areas for cost optimization and ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare follow-up/internal reporting reports, providing regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and highlighting any potential issues or concerns.
  • Business Development Support: Support the business development team in locating land for future opportunities, selecting designers, and evaluating potential project sites.
  • Data Center Design and Configuration: Assist in the design of the data center, as well as its joint configuration with electrical infrastructures and renewable parks, ensuring that all technical requirements are met.
  • Project Permitting and Due Diligence: Monitor the project permitting status and evaluate potential modifications/optimizations, ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
  • Financial Support: Support the finance department in project financing, reviewing reports, CAPEX, technical aspects of the project, and ensuring that all financial requirements are met.
  • Due Diligence Management: Manage Technical Due Diligence and liaise with the technical advisor, informing and supporting the rest of Due Diligence (legal, insurance, etc.).
  • Data Room Management: Manage any project Data Room (Due Diligence, corporate financing, etc.), ensuring that all necessary documentation and information are available.
Requirements
  • Education: Industrial/Civil Engineer or similar. A Master's degree in project management is desirable.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in activities related to project management.
  • Language Skills: A good level of English is essential. Knowledge of other languages (e.g., German) is an asset.
  • Availability: Availability to travel.
