Senior Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Expert to join our team in Barcelona.

About the Role:

  1. Lead the maintenance and support of Microsoft SQL Databases and Clusters
  2. Develop and implement SQL administration strategies, including backup, restore, replication, HA cluster, and performance tuning
  3. Manage Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security
  4. Implement and maintain Active Directory services, including group policies and domain controller configurations
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and troubleshoot incidents
  6. Develop and maintain scripting and automation tools to streamline administrative processes
  7. Provide technical consulting services, including architecture design and implementation

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 7 years of experience in maintaining Windows Servers and Microsoft SQL Databases
  2. At least 3 years of successful technical management of a team
  3. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a customer-centric approach
  4. Experience working in an international environment and managing virtual teams
  5. Very good English skills
