Global Agro Data Science Senior Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Global Agro team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our Analytics stream, you will play a critical role in driving our digital evolution and accelerating transformation across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to maximize agricultural production and quality.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless data access and preparation for model usage.
  • Design and deploy analytics pipelines and dashboards to refresh and share results for key use cases, including geo-spatial information.
  • Support large-scale experimentation and build data-driven models to inform business decisions.
  • Deploy reusable models and recommendations engines to different regions, with proper localization to their unique characteristics.
  • Research and develop methodologies to fine-tune approaches for each analytics use case, with validation of leads.
  • Develop reusable packages or libraries with proper documentation.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience building solutions in the supply chain space.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a team to deliver production-level analytic solutions, with fluency in git (version control).
  • 3+ years of experience in ETL and/or data wrangling techniques, with fluency in SQL syntax.
  • 3+ years of experience in Statistical/ML techniques to solve supervised (regression, classification) and unsupervised problems.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing business problem-related statistical/ML modeling with industry tools, with a primary focus on Python or PySpark development.
  • Experience working with geo-spatial datasets.
  • Fluency in one visualization tool, ideally Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with crop modeling.
  • Experience with climate/weather data.
  • Experience with remote sensing.
  • Understanding of Docker.
