Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Systems Engineer to join our team in the development of the Future Combat Air System (NGWS/FCAS) within an international consortium in the military aeronautical framework.

About the Role

As an Aircraft Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out functional and operational analysis activities associated with unmanned aircraft platforms (RPAS). This is a key position within one of the most important international engineering programs within GMV's aeronautics and avionics department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform operational and functional analysis of aircraft
  • Define functional and non-functional architectures and requirements
  • Develop functional models and support operational simulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in aeronautical engineering, with knowledge of aircraft architecture (especially UAS) and aircraft modeling methodologies. Previous experience and knowledge of UAS mission systems, aircraft modeling tools, and requirements management tools are also highly valued.
