Internship Opportunity in Spa Wellness Department

RMC Asia, representing Marriott International, is recruiting Spa Wellness interns to join the hotel's team in Oman. This dynamic opportunity is part of RMC Asia's Cultural Exchange Programs, a range of internships, management training, and contractual positions across hotels and resorts in Asia.

Program Details:

  • Host: A 5-Star Hotel by Marriott International
  • Destination: Muscat, Oman
  • Department: Spa Wellness
  • Program: Hospitality Business Internship
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Intake: October 2024 onwards

Responsibilities:

  • Assist spa staff in providing exceptional customer service to guests, including greeting guests, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries.
  • Learn and apply basic spa therapies and treatments under the supervision of experienced therapists, such as massages, facials, and body wraps.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of spa facilities, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and locker rooms, by performing regular maintenance and sanitation tasks.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking and replenishing spa products and supplies, and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop skills in spa treatments, customer service, and product knowledge.
  • Observe and learn proper techniques for operating spa equipment and machinery, ensuring safe and effective use.
  • Provide assistance to guests with special needs or requests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their spa experience.
