About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Marketing Procurement Specialist to join our team at Allianz Popular Sl. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of marketing services and products globally, with a strong focus on the Marketing and Communication Category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize marketing procurement spend
- Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure best value for the company
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities and improve outcomes for key marketing activities
- Analyze national, regional, and international procurement markets to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction
- Develop and implement cost reduction projects within the Marketing category
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, KPIs, and feedback sessions
- Collaborate with Allianz Business teams to identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost savings
- Develop innovative negotiation methods and advise on purchasing processes and market dynamics
- Apply classic and agile project management methods to optimize sourcing strategies and maximize value for money
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in marketing procurement for an international operating company or in global project management in a matrix environment
- Successfully completed master studies in a commercial or technical area, marketing/business studies advantageous
- Strong experience on how to engage Allianz Operating Entities (Oes) to collaboratively fulfill Group Procurement and other overarching targets
- Ability to influence others without authority
- Autonomous style of working, collaborative, and team-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience working in environments with highly complex international teams and proven analytical, strategic, and management skills
- Competence to effectively align with different stakeholders and to cooperate with diverse internal and external senior audiences
- Hands-on approach, involving the necessary skills/functions to successfully accomplish tasks and targets
- Excellent communication skills in English and fluent in German is a plus
