Job PurposeWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Export Coordinator to join our Distribution International team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service levels and meeting delivery performance targets through agile and pragmatic prioritization.
Key Responsibilities- Execute customer orders in SAP with precision and accuracy.
- Prepare delivery notes and shipments for pick & pack in our warehouse, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Ensure customer backorder handling, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Create all relevant export documentation, including customs invoices and packing lists, transport orders, and certificates of origin.
- Send dispatch advises to our global distributors and subsidiaries, maintaining effective communication.
- Manage licenses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, automation, and lean process management to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Travel to our HQ in Basel as required, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Basic commercial training, preferably in a freight forwarding company.
- Knowledge of export/import procedures and regulations.
- Proficiency in digital technologies, including cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills to drive business growth.
- Knowledge of SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent English and German language skills, both spoken and written.
- Sensitivity to customer needs, developing trustful and sustainable relationships.
- Collaborative team player with a diverse background, enjoying a dynamic and agile work environment.
- Ability to work under time pressure, prioritizing tasks and communicating effectively.
- Active and energetic individual, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
