Join a leading organization in the marketing and communication sector as an Intercompany Accounting Specialist. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions across various international entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of intercompany accounts, verifying that all transactions among corporate entities are accurately documented and balanced.
  • Detect, analyze, and rectify discrepancies in intercompany reconciliations, collaborating with finance and accounting teams across different regions.
  • Compile and assess financial reports pertaining to intercompany dealings, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
  • Assist in the monthly financial closing process, guaranteeing the proper accounting of intercompany transactions and their reconciliation within set timelines.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights related to intercompany accounts.
  • Enhance and refine internal processes and controls associated with intercompany account reconciliation, pinpointing opportunities for automation and increased efficiency.
  • Remain informed about updates in accounting regulations that may influence intercompany transactions and their reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5-6 years in intercompany accounting and reconciliation, ideally within a multinational context.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are advantageous.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly French, is a plus for effective communication with various operating companies.

Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and a robust understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze and reconcile extensive financial data with precision.
