About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar PV Asset Management Expert to join our team at DNV. As a key member of our Innovation department, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative algorithms that add value to our customers' solar PV assets and portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and code algorithms that estimate assets' life and performance degradation
  • Build relationships with customers to discover market requirements and goals
  • Transform designed algorithms into Python code
  • Maintain close technical collaboration with GPM software teams to integrate algorithms into products
  • Participate in internal and external feedback sessions to ensure Solar PV specific algorithms are scalable and easy for broad implementation
  • Innovate and improve GPM's offerings through clear communication and deployment of analytics solutions to our customer portfolio
About the Team

You will join the Domain Knowledge team within the Innovation department, where our main remit is to create digital tools that enable our customers to optimize the way their assets operate. Our team is passionate about innovation and disruption in the industry, and we are committed to providing analytics and tools for the suite of GPM solutions.

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in the PV industry with a deep understanding of solar technology gained through asset management, performance analysis, and/or operations maintenance (OM) functions
  • Python coding skills
  • Experience in processing SCADA data in general or Solar PV data to create meaningful insights for asset owners and operators
  • Full professional proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
