Key Responsibilities

  • Design and code innovative algorithms to add value to customers in solar PV asset management and performance analysis
  • Collaborate with customers to discover market requirements and goals
  • Transform designed algorithms into Python code
  • Maintain close technical collaboration with GPM software teams to integrate algorithms into products

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to establish robust internal and external professional networks, working with experienced colleagues to support industry-leading customers in an international environment. You will cultivate working relationships with DNV Energy Systems Renewables Advisory colleagues and GPM's Product Team to plan the development and maintenance of solutions and their alignment with our overall strategy.

You will join the Domain Knowledge team within the Innovation department, where our main remit is to create digital tools that enable our customers to optimize the performance of their assets. We innovate and disrupt the industry with best-in-class solutions and breakthrough market opportunities, providing analytics and tools for the suite of GPM solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in the PV industry with a deep understanding of solar technology gained through asset management, performance analysis, and/or operations & maintenance (O&M) functions
  • Python coding skills
  • Experience in processing SCADA data in general or Solar PV data to create meaningful insights for asset owners and operators
  • Full professional proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
