We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager - Data Management Platforms to join our Analytics, Data and Integration (ADI) team at Nestlé SA.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the strategy and lifecycle of a set of global data management platforms, serving hundreds of data engineers and scientists and over 50,000 people across the world.
Key Responsibilities- Define Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy, aligning with customer needs and business objectives.
- Manage Product Lifecycle: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from development to launch and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Directly manage a team of product owners and architects, as well as an extensive external workforce, to drive product development and delivery.
- Drive Business Value: Prioritize and deliver business value through the product, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Manage Budget and Resources: Oversee the budget for the product area, ensuring efficient allocation of financial resources and effective use of personnel.
- Ensure Compliance and Governance: Ensure product/platform governance and compliance, coordinating vendor engagement and activities as needed.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience managing data platforms at a global scale, with expertise in Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, or SAP BW platforms.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with experience coaching a combination of internal teams and external workforce, particularly in an offshore model.
- Business Acumen: Ability to manage product profit and loss, form business cases, and help drive software negotiations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire, recognize achievements, and provide constructive feedback to the team.
- Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum, with experience drafting User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Acceptance Tests.
