About the Role

Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB, an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions. We are seeking an experienced IoT Data Engineer to support our strategic growth in IoT by leading end-to-end data solutions within the IoT Reporting, Analytics, and Big Data team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage IoT project deliveries, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and aligned with agile best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with technical leads, architects, engineers, and external partners to drive success across multiple IoT initiatives.
  • Architect and implement data pipelines, enabling ingestion, storage, and curation in collaboration with Test, Applications, and Enablement teams.

Requirements

  • Knowledge on Analytics solutions and data engineering.
  • Experience on Redshift Data Modelling and SQL.
  • Competence on Data ETL (Spark and/or Pyspark).

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD.
  • Experience with AWS Service or Google Cloud Service.
  • Understanding of scripting and coding languages (Python, Ruby, Bash).
  • Knowledge on Data Science ML algorithms.
