As a Customs Compliance Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to prepare and submit customs declarations for both imports and exports utilizing our proprietary Customs Application.
Siemens Gamesa, a key player in the energy sector and a prominent manufacturer of wind turbines, is dedicated to advancing the energy transition and delivering innovative solutions to meet the global energy demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and finalize External Transit Procedures (T1).
- Prepare customs declarations ensuring:
- All necessary data is accurate and well-documented.
- The most suitable and cost-effective customs procedures are employed.
- Verification of customs value through documentation and internal SAP PO-Orders.
- Correctness of preferential documentation and proper filing for future audits.
- Submit customs declarations to the authorities via our MIC customs system.
- Address errors in our systems (MIC and SAP), edit file transfers, and create manual templates as required.
- Oversee and manage customs clearance processes until completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or a related field, or a Higher Degree (Grado Superior) in Foreign Trade.
- AEAT certification is advantageous.
- Experience in customs and freight forwarding.
- Familiarity with customs processes including export, import, Intrastat, and customs classification.
- International experience is a definite plus.
- Proficiency in customs/ERP IT systems such as SAP and MIC.
- Fluent in Spanish with a good command of English.
- Strong organizational, communication, and assertiveness skills are essential.
