About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Pal Robotics. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing software applications using C++.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using C++.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, and conduct code reviews to ensure high standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software applications.
  • Software Lifecycle: Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on C++ development.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design patterns, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Work Permit: Valid work permit to work in Spain.
Desired Qualifications
  • ROS Experience: Experience with ROS and/or ROS 2.
  • Python Experience: Experience with Python.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Software Development Tools: Experience with software development tools and practices (e.g., continuous integration, automated testing).
  • TDD Experience: Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).

  • Contract Type: Permanent full-time contract.
