About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Manager to join our team at Axa Group. As an IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of IT asset data in our configuration management database (CMDB).

Your primary objective will be to maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, ensure compliance with licensing agreements, and develop and enforce asset management policies and procedures.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the CMDB and ensure accurate information for all IT assets and configurations.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining accurate records and inventory of IT assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
  2. Developing and enforcing asset management policies and procedures.
  3. Collaborating with various teams to support the configuration management database (CMDB).
  4. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance asset and configuration management practices.
  5. Providing guidance and support for IT asset-related decisions and activities across the organization.
  6. Staying informed about industry best practices and trends in IT asset and configuration management.
  7. Monitoring data quality, alerting on discrepancies, and managing action plans for remediation with appropriate data owners.
  8. Defining & Publishing KPIs related to the 8 dimensions of data quality.
  9. Controlling usage of Global processes.
  10. Standardizing and industrializing requests through catalog services.
  11. Managing permissions and access to ServiceNow through profile management.
  12. Assuming training for requesters.
About You

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

  1. Proficiency in IT asset management tools and software, such as ServiceNow.
  2. Experience on the process relevant topics with gradually increasing responsibility.
  3. Knowledge of configuration management databases (CMDB) and their implementation.
  4. Familiarity with IT asset tracking and inventory management systems.
  5. Understanding of software asset management and license compliance.
  6. Ability to conduct data analysis and reporting related to IT assets and configurations.
  7. Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and best practices.
  8. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and components.
  9. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI or other relevant tools for data analysis and reporting.
  10. Excellent database and spreadsheet skills.
  11. Experience using Microsoft Office and Visio to create documents, presentations, and detailed drawings.
