About the Role:

Gentoo Media, a leading affiliate in the online casino and sportsbook industry, is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to oversee and manage the content and SEO strategy for our DACH affiliate websites. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our mission of growing and developing our online gambling affiliate business by implementing strategies in collaboration with our SEO-Content team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Strategy: Work with our SEO-Content team to define and implement on-page and off-page content and SEO strategies for each website under your supervision.
  2. Content Creation: Create high-quality German language content, including metadata and reviews, to enhance our online presence.
  3. Website Management: Perform day-to-day website management tasks, including uploading content and content editing, to ensure our websites are up-to-date and engaging.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Keep an updated record of performing pages for each website and communicate these to the relevant teams, including our Outreach team.
  5. Content Guidelines: Ensure that all content follows guidelines and is aligned with standards and guidelines provided by our Head of Publishing and Head of SEO.
  6. Freelance Management: Lead communication with our freelance writers and provide them with detailed templates and guidelines for all website content.
  7. Team Collaboration: Attend monthly DACH meetings and assist in creating the presentation to ensure seamless communication with our teams.
  8. Professional Development: Actively participate in available training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  9. Competitor Analysis: Regularly check our portfolio of websites to discover issues or areas for improvement in terms of content and SEO, and use SEO and Content tools to conduct website audits.
  10. Launch Support: Oversee the launch of new projects, websites, and/or website languages to contribute to the diversification of our business.
  11. Performance Reporting: Provide reports on content performance to inform our content and SEO strategies.

About You:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with a passion for content creation in the German language. You should have a great understanding of stylistics of the German language and familiarity with content management systems (WordPress or similar). A positive attitude, growth mindset, and desire for innovation are essential for this role. You should also have good presentation and communication skills, an understanding of the iGaming market in Germany, and experience working within the online gaming industry is considered an advantage. Native level knowledge of written and spoken German is required, as well as knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, Google Search Console). Ability to work independently with little daily supervision and excellent communication skills in English are also essential.
