Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Cost Management: Develop and execute strategies to reduce cloud expenditures while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • FinOps Strategy: Spearhead the adoption of FinOps practices and tools to monitor, assess, and enhance cloud financial management.
  • AWS Technical Expertise: Offer in-depth technical knowledge on AWS services, architectures, and industry best practices.
  • Infrastructure Oversight: Oversee and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, guaranteeing scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions align with organizational goals.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Impart knowledge and mentor colleagues on AWS and FinOps best practices.
  • Cloud Advocacy: Foster a cloud-first culture within the organization and educate teams on the advantages of FinOps.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 4 years of practical experience with AWS.
  • Certification: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional is preferred.
  • FinOps Acumen: Proven understanding of FinOps principles and methodologies.
  • Cost Efficiency: Documented success in optimizing cloud costs.
  • Communication Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
  • Mentoring Capability: Ability to convey knowledge and clarify complex concepts effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of monitoring and observability tools like CloudWatch.
