Platform Software Analysis Engineer (m/f/d) for Driver Assistance Systems and Autonomous Driving

ROLE OVERVIEW: The team dedicated to the evaluation of Platform Software focuses on identifying issues that arise during system and component testing for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Your contributions will provide you with a profound understanding of the interactions between Electronic Control Units (ECUs) within vehicles. By leveraging this extensive knowledge and conducting in-depth code analysis, you will be able to identify intricate error patterns, suggest corrective measures, and, through close collaboration with our project partners, gain valuable insights into the development of cutting-edge automotive software and the operational processes of software engineers at our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Investigate irregularities in communication among driver-assistance ECUs, primarily utilizing Ethernet (TCP/DLT/XCP), FlexRay, and CAN protocols.
  • Analyze faults that result in the failure of individual software modules or entire ECUs, including the examination of core dumps.
  • Assess errors related to vehicle diagnostics (Flash, UDS, DTCs).
  • Develop a solid understanding of C++ code to facilitate detailed code analysis.
  • Transfer technical knowledge and collaborate on solutions with project partners.
  • Validate bug fixes for previously identified issues.
  • Conduct debugging sessions with relevant stakeholders.

  • A fascination with driver assistance technologies and autonomous driving.
  • A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.
