Digital Banking Application Support Specialist

As a Digital Banking Application Support Engineer at Western Union, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our digital banking systems and services. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain the digital banking infrastructure in the assigned region, while also providing technical support and maintenance for our digital banking applications.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and develop the digital banking infrastructure in the assigned region, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and services.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for our digital banking applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues, and implementing enhancements and security patches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new digital banking products and services, and to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and release notes, to ensure that all stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
- Participate in the development and implementation of technical strategies and roadmaps to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities to leverage these to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in building and maintaining complex software systems, with a focus on digital banking and financial services.
- Experience with digital banking platforms, including core banking systems, payment processing systems, and mobile banking applications.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++, as well as experience with cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the globe.
