Importante Empresa is seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for conducting assignments encompassing complete projects or portions of major projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and develop proposals for process improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency and quality.
- Support process improvement projects to establish machine and process standards, improving equipment efficiency and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Develop and revise production standards and standard work documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate continuous improvement activities, leading cross-departmental projects for process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancement.
- Manage and execute projects ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and business needs are met.
- Provide project management guidance and structure, preparing reports and presentations.
- Challenge the status quo and develop innovative ideas within processes to drive business growth.
- Provide technical support for production areas, evaluating process deficiencies and equipment failure.
- Review and analyze data, applying statistical methods to determine normal and non-normal results.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and company policies, participating in GMP audits and coordinating communications with stakeholders.
- Comply with safety requirements and promote safe working conditions.
- Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to management.
**Requirements**
- Education: BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, with experience or equivalent knowledge and skills to perform the position's responsibilities.
- Experience: Strong PC experience preferred, with experience with PLCs, vision systems, CIM, robotics, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with high-speed automation assembly equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to function in a team-based manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of FDA, BSI, ISO, GMP requirements.
