The Position: Assistant R&D Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA engineer to join our Technology Exploration Unit in Granada, Spain, as an integral part of our R&D team. The successful candidate will focus on telecommunications and deterministic networking, developing innovative projects, planning features, and ensuring adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop key firmware and FPGA elements for TSN networking, including design validation, test benches, simulations, and evaluation strategies.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to maintain high quality under constraints.
  • Engage with cutting-edge Resilient PNT and deterministic technologies.
  • Communicate effectively with project partners and managers.
  • Manage project budgets, personnel efforts, and comprehensive work plans.

Requirements:

  • Master's in Telecommunications, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
  • Excellent English proficiency (advanced Cambridge certificate or similar).
  • Knowledge in software engineering, embedded Linux, and Linux kernel drivers.
  • Passionate and motivated for industrial R&D projects.
  • Teamwork, organization, autonomous work, and project management skills.
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGA tools (Vivado, Vitis, HLS), embedded software development, FPGA logic design (VHDL/Verilog).
