About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mathematics Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and previous experience in teaching. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collaboratively planning, preparing, and delivering differentiated lessons to meet the needs of our students
- Assessing and reporting student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
- Responsible for student welfare and pastoral development of the class group, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment
- Maintaining the learning environment of the classroom and managing resources effectively
- Organizing and participating in school events, trips, and extra-curricular activities, promoting a sense of community and school spirit
- Line managing the teaching assistant, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
- Previous experience in teaching mathematics, preferably in an international school setting
- The ability to differentiate and deliver engaging and inquiry-based lessons, catering to diverse learning styles and needs
- Familiarity and experience with collaborative planning and a team-teaching approach, promoting a culture of mutual respect and trust
