Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our central Machine Learning Engineering teams as part of the sennAI department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for defining the new state-of-the-art for machine learning engineering in the road logistics services.

Our sennAI department is dedicated to building proprietary technology that can automate sales, brokerage, and other business-related activities. This automation enables a flywheel where data acquisition and revenues grow exponentially with one another. Your expertise will be crucial in creating best-in-class predictive analytics services while approaching ML Engineering in a holistic, end-to-end fashion.

Every day, we acquire 3M+ new real-time data points about the road logistics industry in Europe. This data is used to build the future of logistics marketplaces where pricing optimization, load-to-carrier recommendation, load search, and network optimization happen in an automated fashion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning models to solve complex problems in the road logistics industry.
  2. Mentor junior to senior engineers, enabling them to deliver successful and impactful software projects.
  3. Review technical roadmaps and deliveries across teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
  4. Design and develop health and performance monitoring tools for data pipelines and machine learning services in production.
  5. Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on available technologies.
  6. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
  7. Lead cross-team alignment efforts on technical dependency finding and matching, cross-domain architectural design, and Artificial Intelligence-related topics.
