Job Title: HSSQE Technical Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled HSSQE Technical Advisor to join our team at Apm Terminals. As a key member of our HSSQE Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Business Unit HSE strategy, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site-based activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and site HSE standards.
  • Prepare and compile HSE improvement plans, monitoring performance and reporting to the HSE Business Partner.
  • Identify high HSE risk activities, prioritizing improvement actions and monitoring post-incident improvement actions.
  • Support assurance activities, verifying that contractors, suppliers, consultants, and visitors comply with relevant legislation and site HSE standards.
  • Participate in thorough investigations of incidents, ensuring that new controls are implemented and that they are managing the risk.
  • Lead by example, ensuring compliance with local HSE policies & procedures, enforcing safe working practices, and promoting a safe workplace.
