SocialPoint is seeking a highly skilled Game Design Director to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our Dragon City team, you will be responsible for leading the design vision and strategy for our flagship title.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the game's design vision, ensuring it aligns with overall business goals.
- Communicate the design vision to the team and stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding and commitment.
- Propose new ideas and lead brainstorming sessions to drive innovation.
- Develop user experience stories, create wireframe screens and workflows, and ensure every feature is supported by optimal design solutions.
- Lead and grow a team of designers by providing mentorship, fostering a collaborative environment, and supporting professional development.
- Encourage creativity and innovation, set clear goals, and ensure the team has the resources and guidance needed to excel.
- Establish and prioritize goals, offer guidance throughout the development process, and approve finalized design work.
- Work with product managers, developers, and artists to lead all aspects of the implementation of new features and systems.
- Create and enhance tools to streamline and accelerate the design pipeline, ensuring the team can work more efficiently and effectively.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that optimize workflow and productivity.
- Analyze real-time feedback and metrics to refine game designs, ensuring they remain engaging and balanced.
