Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Expert to join our team at Bayer. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of assigned products and countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supply Chain Planning: Develop and implement short-term supply plans in close collaboration with internal packaging sites and External Manufacturing to ensure adherence to inventory targets.
  2. Operational Supply Management: Manage operational supply issues, such as out of stock events or overstocking, and support the prioritization and allocation in supply bottleneck situations.
  3. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels at affiliate locations and define required bridging stock levels due to country-specific events.
  4. Change Management: Ensure GMP-compliance by managing product changes according to supply needs and local regulatory requirements.
  5. Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external functions, including packaging technology and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless execution of supply chain activities.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor or master in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in demand and supply planning, with a focus on analytical skills and process knowledge.
  3. Skills: Excellent knowledge of supply chain planning and execution, with a strong understanding of process and reporting related questions.
  4. Communication: Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work with internal and external functions.
  5. Language: Fluent in English.
