Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Deploy Technician to join our team at Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. This is a unique opportunity to work on the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast and smooth rollout of established designs and products.
- Manage work priorities through ticketing systems and workflows, and collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
- Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.
- Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
- Completing customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.
- Participating in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.

Basic Qualifications- Technical Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or Certifications in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA).
- 2+ years of experience with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, and OTDR etc.) in a data center or critical environment.
- Highly proficient in both spoken and written English (Common European Framework of Reference C1).
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, etc).
- Experience with ethernet and IP networking.
- Experience working in virtualized enterprise networking environments.
- Familiarity with common networking terms and fabric-based network design.
- Experience with enterprise level infrastructure technologies (Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Firewalls etc.).
