About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAC Planning Expert to join our Data and Analytics department at Amadeus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the Amadeus SAC Platform, focusing on CCOP, BPOP, and FFC.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Automated Solution Identification: Collaborate with internal customers to advise on business Analytics services, recommend potential solutions, and provide high-level implementation sizing.
  2. Solution Design: Collect and document detailed business specifications, analyze functional design, and propose technical designs to ensure efficient and effective solutions.
  3. Solution Construction: Develop or customize end-to-end solutions, conduct tests to ensure quality, and optimize the solution based on test results.
  4. Solution Maintenance and Support: Perform L3 support, propose enhancements, and secure adequate governance in a community of SAC superusers.
  5. Solution Architecture: Identify, propose, and implement architecture improvements, configure data source connections, and define best practices for SAC deployment.
  6. Team Engagement: Assist, guide, and support team members, actively participate in agile ceremonies, and contribute to increasing team engagement.
Requirements
  • Deep experience in SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) with a focus on Planning functionalities.
  • Experience with SAP-powered IT landscapes, especially the BI suite.
  • Data modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level.
  • Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models.
  • Fluency in English; French and/or Spanish are a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of planning processes in large corporations.
  • Excellent analysis skills in Business Intelligence/Analytics.
  • Financial foundations for projects (business case, budget follow-up, accounting principles).
  • Advanced presentation skills and ability to summarize core messages.
