Key Responsibilities- Safety and Compliance
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.
- Comply with all local and federal regulations, including air permits, waste water, storm water, and spill prevention.
- Maintenance Leadership
- Lead the maintenance department, providing vision, goals, coaching, and priorities.
- Develop and execute hiring and training programs to ensure personnel meet operational support requirements.
- Facilities Maintenance
- Ensure optimal operation of all ancillary and peripheral systems in the plant.
- Implement a facility maintenance program, coordinating contracts with suppliers for preventive maintenance.
- Reliability and Performance
- Establish and manage the master maintenance program to provide optimum reliability to manufacturing and ancillary systems.
- Develop and execute funding strategies to optimize equipment functioning.
- Financial Management
- Develop annual budgets, track spending, and ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Seek alternatives to control and reduce spending.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Experience in design and maintenance of complex manufacturing equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues/equipment.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
