About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven E-Commerce Sales Specialist to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our EMEA Merchant Acquisition Sales organization, you will be responsible for growing the American Express Card acceptance network in the Republic of Ireland by self-prospecting and following up on leads to acquire new merchants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow the American Express Card acceptance network in the Republic of Ireland through self-prospecting and lead follow-up.
  • End-to-end ownership of leads, from initial contact to closing the sale, account setup, and ensuring merchants can fully benefit from accepting American Express.
  • Participate in tactical sales campaigns throughout the year.
Requirements
  • Native/Fluent level of English written and spoken.
  • Background working for/in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Previous sales experience (2 years).
  • Willingness to sell, driven by objectives, ambitious, and communicative.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; Salesforce a bonus).
  • Highly engaging telephone communication style with ability to speak confidently with senior executives.
