Amazon Key is a patented building access technology that supports Amazon Last Mile in the US, with international expansion plans. Our team is actively seeking a motivated and multi-talented engineer who is passionate about technological and business innovation.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Android developer to join our Amazon Key team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge Android mobile applications that guide Amazon customers to access their access-control devices via mobile app.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new, secure, and reliable features that drive real-time data, video, and audio solutions.
  • Utilize modern Android development design patterns.
  • Propose innovative tools, frameworks, automations, and processes that are used by the entire Android team for development.
  • Participate in hiring and developing the team.

Requirements

  • Experience (non-internship) in professional software development.
  • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
