Job Title: Android Developer, Key Innovator

Are you passionate about developing innovative solutions for real-world problems? Do you want to be part of a team that is transforming the way people access their homes and properties? We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our Amazon Key team, where you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and develop software solutions that drive real-time data, video, and audio.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop secure, reliable, and scalable Android mobile applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate design approaches, prototype new technologies, and evaluate technical feasibility
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software
  • Engage with the Android development community across Amazon to share learnings and grow

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design new features that drive real-time data, video, and audio solutions
  • Utilize modern Android development design patterns
  • Propose innovative tools, frameworks, automations, and processes that are used by the entire Android team for development
  • Participate in hiring and developing the team

Requirements:

  • Experience in professional software development
  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
