Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the DTO Intelligent Automation leadership to formulate tailored roadmaps for digital innovations and machine learning applications.
- Design and execute strategies for process enhancement to boost efficiency and quality standards.
- Evaluate current manufacturing workflows, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and propose technological advancements.
- Oversee laboratory experiments, pilot studies, and the transfer of technology.
- Create comprehensive playbooks for the deployment and replication of intelligent automation solutions.
- Offer technical guidance to address process-related challenges and conduct root cause analyses.
- Foster collaborative relationships with various departments to ensure alignment of strategies and objectives.
- Guide and develop engineering talent to support the ongoing advancement of automation technologies.
- Stay informed about industry developments and best practices.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% to 30% of the time.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/Process Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering roles related to manufacturing, automation design, and technology transfer.
- At least 5 years of experience in implementing intelligent automation solutions and leading digital transformation initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of process optimization methods, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Project Management Training and/or Certification.
- Certification in Industry 4.0 methodologies.
- Expertise in process analysis, modeling software, and statistical methods.
- Experience with tools for process improvement and automation control systems.
