**Job Summary**
Air Products is seeking a highly skilled Field Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control and instrumentation systems across our operating facilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute large-scale control and instrumentation projects, including field installation and commissioning.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, vendors, and peers to ensure project success.
- Design and specify plant instrumentation, including smart plant instrumentation and control valves.
- Support and supervise field instrument installations, and work closely with contractors.
- Participate in P&ID and HAZOP reviews, and have a strong understanding of DCS architecture and plant control networks.
- Assist in factory and site acceptance tests, and be responsible for pre and post-commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with operating teams and engineering disciplines to troubleshoot and resolve critical plant instrumentation issues.
- Change or organize the change out of defective plant instrumentation, adhering to Air Products standards.
**Requirements:**
- A high level of English proficiency, with any other language a plus.
- A degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Control & Instrumentation) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong design skills and a proven track record in specifying, executing, and implementing instrumented systems.
