About the Job

As a Night Auditor at Marriott International, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include processing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling payments, and resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
  • Handle all types of payments, including cash, checks, debit, and credit cards.
  • Resolve any late or disputed charges, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Answer and respond to guest calls, messages, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure that rooms are ready for check-in, and communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors.
  • Supply guests with directions and information about the property and local areas of interest.
  • Run daily reports to identify any special requests or discrepancies, and check reports for accuracy.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks, and count bank at the beginning and end of shift.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
