Our joint venture, established in October 2022, combines the expertise of Bunge, a prominent producer of plant-based oils, with Olleco, the UK's leading collector of used cooking oil. Together, we are addressing critical environmental and energy security challenges across Europe.

A diverse range of high-quality, sustainable cooking oils. Collection of used cooking oil, converted into premium biofuels for transportation. Support for food companies in adopting circular economy practices. Significant greenhouse gas savings through biodiesel production from used cooking oils.ROLE DESCRIPTION OF THE MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS ANALYST:
Oversee and refresh the M&A pipeline by identifying new acquisition prospects and tracking the progress of ongoing projects. Assist in pinpointing potential opportunities aligned with the Joint Venture's strategic objectives. Engage in all stages of transactions, including preliminary due diligence, financial modeling, letters of intent, due diligence, structuring, negotiations, legal documentation, and integration planning. Evaluate financial data and statements, creating models to assess the feasibility of acquisition targets, including potential synergies. Develop and manage the virtual data room, collaborating with external advisors and internal teams on material preparation and collection. Prepare investment proposals for Board and Executive Committee approvals. Aid central support functions in formulating integration plans, conducting site visits, and generating reports. Monitor investment performance against budget expectations.The successful candidate will report directly to the M&A Director of Europe, gaining exposure to the entire M&A lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related discipline / professional qualification. Proficiency in English and Spanish (minimum B2 level). Previous experience in a deal-making environment, ideally within Corporate M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Finance / M&A in an investment bank, or Transaction Services at a leading professional services firm. Familiarity with accounting principles and concepts. Expertise in Excel financial modeling. Strong project management and organizational capabilities. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Keen attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness to travel as required.WHAT ́S ON OFFER:
